SB Rail takes delivery of number 5 of 6 – 09-4×4/4S Dynamic

19th March 2021

SB Rail introduced the first 09-4×4/4S Dynamic in 2014, the fifth machine of this type arrived in Dollands Moor on the 8th March, with one more machine due to arrive mid 2021. The machine is now at th OEM and is undergoing final testing and commissioning.

Commenting, SB Rail’s Michael Zeidler said…

“We’re delighted to be taking delivery of the fifth 09 Dynamic machine, further demonstrating our commitment to investing in the latest tamping and stabilising technologies available. Once we have the delivery of the sixth machine in mid 2021 this will make SB Rail the market leader with the youngest OTM fleet in the UK with this type of ground breaking technology. This latest addition takes our DTS equipped fleet to eight machines, which are increasingly enabling higher hand back speeds across the rail network”.

Notes:

The 09-4×4/4S Dynamic is the most advanced tamping and stabilising machine available in the UK and provides high output capacity on both plain line and S&C.
